Preschool Tuition Assistance Available
For 2012-2013 School Year

Guidelines: 

• Tuition Assistance for Marion County children 4 years of age or older as of September 15, of current school year, as of right now, the 3 year olds are on a waiting list. Due to fund cuts 4 year olds are the priority, whatever spots are remaining, the 3 year olds will be used to fill.
• Tuition assistance will only be given to families who do not qualify for other financial subsidy programs (Head Start, etc...)
• Preschools must be an approved licensed or school based program!  The family and preschool will be notified of outcome of an application.
• The child must live in Marion County
• Tuition assistace will be based on income and family size
• Funds are based upon what the state gives to The Empowerment Program

Application: Please submit your application to the approved licensed or school based preschool of your choice and it will be forwarded to the Marion County preschool Tuition Coordinator, Diane Ellis, or you may call 641-828-2238 and an application can be mailed to you.
