Homemaker
The Homemaker program of Marion County provides care to individuals who need assistance in their homes. Trained Home Care Aides assist clients with
- light housekeeping
- laundry
- grocery shopping
- errands
- meal preparation
- personal care
- other in-home tasks necessary to help individuals remain safely in their home
A doctor's order is not required to receive homemaker services. Services require a condition that prevents individuals from doing their own housekeeping tasks.
Fees
- Homemaker services care paid for privately by the client.
- Sliding fee scale is offered for individuals who cannot afford to pay full fee.
- Services may be paid in full by grant if certain income guidelines are met.
Anyone can make a referral to our office for the homemaker program.
Admittance of new clients is subject to status of grant funding and staff availability.
